Finished 2 fall tillings. Planted garlic, lettuce, swiss chard, salad greens, parsley, and spinach for an early spring crop.
September 30th, 2009
Snow and heavy frost! Harvested final truckload of sweet corn. Harvested the last of the covered tomatoes including green tomatoes to be held for ripening inside. Harvested root crops: onions, potatoes, carrots.
September 20th, 2009
Light frost! The end of uncovered tender crops: Tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, winter squash, summer squash, cucumbers, peppers.
September 15th, 2009
Current crops: sweet corn, summer squash, cucumbers, bell peppers, jalepeno peppers, banana peppers, slicing tomatoes, roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, green beans, onions, turnips, beets, onioins.

Current crops: crookneck, pan squash, zucchini, green beans, cabbage, onions, bananna peppers, bell peppers, eggplant, cherry tomatoes, roma tomatoes, bananna squash, spaghetti squash, sweet corn, baby potatoes, carrots, peas, turnips, kale, kohlrabi, butternut squash, cucumbers, grapes.

Current crops: cucumbers, turnips, swiss chard, beets, green beans, crookneck, onions, peppers, cabbage, kale, peas.
August 1st, 2009
Current crops: Green beans, Roma tomatoes, peas, crookneck, cucumbers, swish chard, turnips, beets, peas, onions.
July 24th
Crops currently being harvested include: green onions, turnips, beets, radishes, and swiss chard. Next week the following are expected to start producing: peas, cucumbers, crookneck, and green beans. A few cherry tomotoes are just starting to ripen.

June 27th
The second planting of sweet corn germinated and is doing great. Carrots finally decided to germinate and are doing very well. Banana and Jalepeno peppers are doing well. Cabbage, kale, and kohlrabi have germinated and are doing well. Turnips failed to germinate. Will replant.
June 17th
The following crops are doing well: slicing tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, pimento peppers, onions, cucumbers, crookneck, peas, potatoes, beets, swiss chard, green beans, popcorn, indian corn, egplant.

The following crops failed: Greens/Lettuce, sweet corn. I intend to replant and hope for a later crop.

May 19th
Irrigation pipe to be delivered in about a week. Labor shares are mostly gone. Plenty of paying shares are still available.

May 13th

Planted 2600 feet of row including corn, potatoes, onions, peas, parsley, kale, cabbage, turnips, beets, green beans, cucumbers, popcorn, indian corn, carrots, swiss chard, and more.

May 9th

Second Tilling.
